Super Bowl XLVIII Tickets Have Never Been Cheaper!

2014 Super Bowl

In all my years of selling Super Bowl tickets, I don’t think I’ve ever seen then selling this cheap, a whole week before the Big Game!

I’ve read a number of reports about why prices are so cheap this year, but at the end of the day, I really believe it comes down to weather, and fear of the unknown. Last week, they were predicting snow on Super Bowl Sunday, and overnight prices dropped by over $400/ticket. But if you look at the weather forecast now, you’ll see that they’re predicting clear skies. Yet prices haven’t recovered from that scare.

Yes, it’ll still be cold (only getting into the 30s), but I’ve been to Bears games where it was in the single digits, with crazy wind (they don’t call it The Windy City for nothing) making it feel like -15, and people still stuck it out. And that was for a Divisional Game, not the Super Bowl.

My advice as a local (I live about 45 minutes from the stadium) – Dress in layers, bring hand and foot warmers, and come inside occasionally to warm up if it gets really cold. And keep in mind that drinking actually makes you colder, so save your hard earned $$ and spend it on something warm, like a hot dog or pretzel instead.

There’s never been a better time to score Super Bowl XLVIII tickets, so take advantage of this anomaly and come watch the Broncos battle the Seahawks in an epic battle that will be watched by millions!
