Stone Temple Pilots fans worried that frontman Scott Weiland’s recent seizure might affect the band’s fall tour plans can take solace in the news that the group has just tacked a Canadian trek onto its itinerary. The newly added Canadian leg launches on November 7th in Victoria, British Columbia, and is set to hit a total of eight cities north of the border.
News of the expanded tour comes just days after Weiland reportedly suffered a mild seizure while en route from Los Angeles to Miami aboard an American Airlines flight. The incident, which occurred last Friday, resulted in the plane making an emergency landing at Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport.
Despite the incident, Weiland still managed to hit the stage in Miami the following night at an event that marked the launch of his new men’s-clothing line, “Weiland for English Laundry.”
