The Kentucky Derby is one of the most famous and prestigous horse races in the world. It is the first leg of the United States Triple Crown of horse racing, held on the first Saturday each May at Churchill Downs. As the first leg in the pursuit of the Triple Crown, the Kentucky Derby is viewed by many as the most exciting two minutes in sports.
This year’s Kentucky Derby will be held at Churchill Downs on May 1st.
