U2 Reschedules North American Dates For 2011

The next North American leg of U2′s 360° tour, which was postponed after frontman Bono suffered a back injury while preparing for the trek, is now set to get underway in May 2011, about a year later than originally scheduled. Bono underwent emergency back surgery at a Munich hospital in May.
The rescheduled North American leg is set to get underway next May in Denver, and dates are currently set well into August of 2011. According to a press release, U2 tickets for the previously scheduled performances will be honored at the door, and tickets for the rescheduled dates are on sale now.
Bono apologized for the trouble his injury caused fans. “People go through a lot of trouble to get U2 tickets and we don’t take it for granted,” he said. “Thank you for standing by us in our hour of need. It was not a lot of fun for me. The injury was quite serious.”
