Van Halen Announces Extensive North American Tour

After years of speculation, rumors, and false starts, Van Halen fans officially have something to look forward to. The band has confirmed plans for a 44-city North American tour in support of their new album, “A Different Kind of Truth,” that drops on February 7th.

The tour kicks off on February 18th in Louisville, KY, and is currently set to wrap up on June 26th in New Orleans. Van Halen tickets for nearly all of the stops on the first half of the outing are set to roll out this week.

Van Halen’s lineup will be the same one it featured during its 2007/2008 tour: Original frontman David Lee Roth, guitarist Eddie Van Halen and drummer Alex Van Halen, along with bassist Wolfgang Van Halen, Eddie’s son, who replaced original bassist Michael Anthony prior to the band’s previous tour.

According to a press release, Van Halen will perform songs from “A Different Kind of Truth,” as well as tracks from the band’s catalog.
